What content creates value for members?
Content aims to deepen the bonds among members of the community, and will include:
Newsletter:
An overview on what's been happening: network activities (previous and upcoming) and sharings from the community, welcoming new members, featuring the more than human, and having in mind the success metrics.
Quarterly/Seasonal publication to begin with, but as the community and our capacity grows this can increase in frequency. Content & Communications pod facilitate the newsletter, suggest themes, help to publish and gather content. However, guest editors will also be recruited, to curate their own newsletters.
All members of the community are invited to contribute or propose content, and it’s a responsibility of the Lead/Guest Editor to invite the community to take part. The ‘Stories & Dialogue’ folder and sub-channels can be used by community members to suggest, submit, discuss newsletter topics, content, ideas etc.
Shared calendar:
A place for people to share upcoming community run events. Events that are not community run, but may be of interest to the rest of the community can be shared on Discord, in the Events channel. All community members are invited to contribute, by adding events to the calendar autonomously. The shared Google calendar can be accessed here. Shared Experience and Content & Communications pod members will monitor/moderate the calendar.
Membership Directory:
Initially, it will be a simple directory (Google spreadsheet) to help the community to see itself and facilitate connections.
Information is gathered, with consent, using the community sign up form.
Eventually, a ‘Member's Map’ will be created to show where we are and how we are all linked with one another.
The directory will be updated on a regular basis as new members join.
All members are invited to contribute to this directory with basic information and any projects they are a part of.
